It is a tourist spot. As such, you will have all the standard photography places, gift shops, cafe etc. Expect the normal stuff. The place is small but beautiful. There is an array of waterfall and what looks like battlements at most, but hardly a...More

The landscape is beautiful, very European style but other than this, nothing else. A stroll would takes approximately 30mins to complete. The TWD 200 entrance ticket entitles us to redeem TWD100 merchandise so stopped by a cafe for a cuppa but their drinks seriously can't...More

Went with high hopes of seeing a nice castle with nice scenery, however what welcome us was the total opposite. The pond was green with algae, the waterfall walk was not really working. The stone benches with characters were broken. we had to pay for...More

This place was super boring and definitely not worth a special stop. Sure, the place was kept quite quaint and pretty, but nothing beyond that. If you've been to Europe, there's no need to stop here. I came early in the morning and hardly anyone...More

We hired a Taxi for a one day tour and this place is one of our stop. XinShe Castle is not accessible without car. The place is very relaxing and it is worth the trip for some photo moments. Apart from that, there is not...More

Place is nicely landscaped. We noted lots of seating area; I imagine it's meant for groups to chill out, have picnics during weekend/holidays. But, I find it rather boring and place is too man-made; saving grace of this place for us was the koi-feeding at...More

It's so bad environment where is dirty everywhere == just wasted the admission NTD 250. The can drinks costs 140 dollars in the paper cup....it's awful ==....it's even not worth 1 star half enough. 環境髒亂椅套發霉、完全浪費250門票。停車還要100。100元抵用卷不能合用換了一杯140元的即溶飲料.....滿分10分給這裡最高1分.....完全失望!

It's amazing to find such a place. Feels like we are in some european place. Huge grounds to explore. Thankfully weather was beautiful and makes walking around super pleasant. Ended the walk with a cup of mocha and a piece of tiramisu.

Take bus 270, 271, 276 or 277 outside the Taichung railway station; and get off at Bus station Zhongxingling(中興嶺). It take around 1 hour. Then, you may take a taxi or walk for around 35mins to the resort.
