The beach is full of pebbles all kinds of shapes and colors so some like to skim stones along the beach. The beach also has a beautiful 360 view around it with mountains coming up on one side and the start of the city on...More

A picturesque coastline formed by natural pebbles stones with a gorgeous view of Hualien mountains. It’s a great place for Cycling and picnic during cool season. Also a great place to enjoy sunset and star gazing.

Located near the Hualien Airport, this is not a swimming beach. It is not safe to wade at the water's edge as there is a very quick & deep drop, and strong tow currents. Was disappointed that it was not a very pretty beach (rocks,...More

A beautiful place for the people who like nature/water scenes, who enjoy bike riding. Due to the nature reason (cliff), it is NOT the place for water activities, such as swimming, surfing. It is NOT a fully developed place, but you can get a clean/friendly...More

It’s the meeting of the Li Wu river, the mountains and the Pacific Ocean that created this special beach. The entire beach is covered with flat stones of varying sizes, colours from green, red, white, grey to black and patterns from dots, lines and marbling...More

The beach was busy at it was a Sunday afternoon. Recommend visiting on a week day. The surf is dangerous for young children.

Unfortunately we were there on a rainy day. It was impossible to leave the car. We saw the winds blowing the palm trees almost horizontal. Other tourists from other groups went to venture to the beach and umbrellas/rain coats were blown all over. There’s a...More
