I was actually in awe seeing greeneries everywhere when I rode the cable car. Maokong mountain is beautiful! Even saw some tea plantations.

A fun stroll through the village visiting little shops and taking in the views. We stopped for dinner and enjoyed good food and a wonderful sunset. A great way to end our visit to Taiwan.

Serene place to take a late morning stroll, stop by a shophouse for a cup of freshly brewed cheese tea. Highly recommend the Osmanthus infused Iron Buddha! Took the gondola up the mountain, well worth the money. For $120, it takes you right to the...More

We got to the top of the mountain via the gondola, which was a great way to travel. The mountain has amazing views over the city and the surrounding tea plantations. Once up there, there are tea houses, restaurants and shops to enjoy.

You can ride the Maokong gondola all the way to the top. There are a few stations on the gondola where you can get off like Zhinan Temple. An alternative is to get the bus to get around the area. We got up using a...More
