The site is not over developed. The wood carvings in Zhongshan Hall were made from cinnamomum wood, so the whole hall smelled really nice. The place has this old day atmosphere, and offers many good photo opportunities.

It's not far from the main road, No. 9-- less than 10 minutes drive. The whole area features Japanese style that most houses were re-constructed in traditional Japanese pattern after the fire in 2001. There is an exhibition of wooden sculptures created by domestic artists....More

Not much to see, the wood sculpture and mediocre, the building are not interesting, and i think the signage can be better.

An old wood chopping area become a park to show histories of different trees and walk around to have some exercises. There are parking spaces but do not come in mass vacation since it's not designed to accommodate lots of people at one time.

Nice place to learn something about the past, building are mostly renovated and include wood carvings. All is in Japanese style. Make sure to walk one of the trails for a great view.

The village dates from the early to mid 20th century and was significantly influenced by Japanese culture. Some buildings are restored, others are reasonably well preserved while there are also buildings which are in very bad shape. All in all, it is fun to walk...More
