A very well run tourist farm with great scenery, catering to children. The animals are well cared for, and the activities interactive for children. The accommodation is adequate, clean and conveniently located. My children had an absolute blast feeding the ducks, cows, sheep, rabbits, and...More

We really had a fun time at the flying cow ranch. I was a bit hesitant at first because of my teenager and was surprised how much fun she had feeding the goats. There is also a butterfly farm which was nice to look at....More

We spent one whole day in this amazing farm. Very well managed. For parents, kind of soul seaking journey away from the hustle and bustle of city line. As for our kids, this is the very first time for them to have a close contact...More

I went to a farm called flying cow ranch, in Miaoli. It was amazing! There were a lot of activities to do there. I had tried four activities : baking egg muffins, making milk flavoured ice cream, and milking a cow, and painting a “cow...More

My daughter was really happy with the farm! She did not nap and insisted on trying the various activities with the animals. It would be good if we could have stayed more than a night so that they had more time with the animals and...More

We wanted to visit a working farm/ranch close enough to fly in from Singapore and we were not disappointed. Spending two nights/three days at the Flying Cow ranch was an excellent getaway for myself and my 8 year old daughter. During the weekday, there were...More

We visited this farm in April. Rooms were clean and spacious and farm was relatively clean too. Staff didn’t speak much English though so we struggled with communication. They had many activities for the kids both in the farm and outside, so kids had fun....More

It took us some 2h drive from Taipei main station to here. Weather was great albeit chilly, but the kids had fun mingling with the animals, unlike the usual theme park and what not. They serve great hot pot, milk (of course) and customer service...More

I like this farm a lot. Although it is a long drive to Flying Cow, I think it is an acception. The bad side is that Flying Cow is not in a very convenient place, I think it is overall very good!

This is a lovely place although it is far from Taipei. Recommend to go in the winter when the weather is cool with no mozzies. Try to get a room at the 1st floor. Otherwise you have to lug your luggage up the stairs. Food...More

You can do either - you can stay at the Farm overnight, or you can go to visit during the day.

We rented a car and drove there, but you can also take a train and then a taxi to the farm. I remember seeing this on a website - just do a search on how to get to Flying Cow Ranch from Taipei airport.

The duration to spend there is based on what activities you would like to do. Forgotten if I see any ducks. To milk the cows there are specific timings. Think the car(bus/tram, dunno what’s it’s called) have to pay. 40NTD... More
