Great place to learn more about the Hakka culture. Interesting exhibits and clean toilets. We arrived at 4pm and ran out of time. Best to allocate 2 hours per visit.

The Miaoli Hakka Culture Park was modern and spacious. It introduced Hakka culture and customs in detail and gave a good insight on the ethnic characteristic of the Hakkas. Well worth a visit if you are in Miaoli.

Very good display explaining Hakka history, culture, & customs. Good use of actual exhibits as well as technology e.g. Hakka costumes, umbrella design. Beautiful library. Has concession stands to sample Hakka food. What's more, admission is free! Great for family visit.

There are several excellent exhibit rooms about HAKKA culture. The museum tells us lots of stories. An interesting interactive facility is especially designed for kids, they love it so much. It's easy to reach for driving thru highway No. 1 or taking shuttle bus service...More

I've been to the one in China and this. Certainly better organised and programmed here than there. We are not new to Hakka culture. I was curious how the attraction owners sought to present their culture as a tourist location.

It is free but not many tourists. In hot summer, it's a nice place to hang around for an hour because it has AC on, which also means it is not environmental friendly, I guess.
