Yingge, with a 200-year history in pottery, is one of the earliest settlements of Taiwan, thus earning the reputation of “Taiwan’s Jingdezhen”. Constructed with exposed concrete and steel structures, the Yingge Ceramics Museum is a landmark presenting rustic beauty. Walk into Yingge Old Street and feel the pieces of brick and tiles lightly emitting a historical and cultural atmosphere. Reputed as the hall of eastern art, “Sanxia Zushi (Divine Ancestor) Temple is a temple built with an ancient technique. The groups of bygone architectures and baroque-style plaques of Sanxia Old Street still retain their former self. Once known as Sanjiaoyong street, Minquan street used to be the gathering grounds of the once-prosperous cloth dying industry. The Sanxia Dye Workshop was established to keep the blue-dye culture from disappearing. A quiet place where the fish is at km 0... you can take a tour of the farm looking at the different species of fish and then sit at the restaurant! Fast service and tasty dishes! Possibility to buy even just the fish to take away!
