An island, with some sightseeing areas such as the Cijin town centre, the beach, fort, etc. For us, the highlight was the motorised cycle we rented. With it, we had a smashing time covering the length of the beach. Otherwise it would have been alot...More

We reached at 12pm and the temperature was 33’C. A walk is required from shiziwan station. You can either rent a bike from shiziwan station and pay extra to ferry it to Cijin or to rent electric or normal bike inside Cijin. We had seafood...More

Nice place for morning walk, but seriously nothing much to see here Only require a short ferry ride of less than 10 mins to reach. Ferry terminal walking distance from MRT.

A pleasant place to spend a few hours in. The main attraction of the island i.e. the giant seashell is relatively far (i.e. 20 minutes walk) from the jetty. As such, it is recommended to rent an electric bike to navigate around for convenience. Tip:...More

Take the ferry to Cijin Island, and walk around (or rent a bike or a "rikshaw"). Enjoy the beach, people watch, have some sea food, walk around the covered market, have a bubble tea or sugar cane juice etc. Nothing overly exciting, but its definitely...More

This is a really nice break from the city, and yet so close! You take a 10 minute ferry ride and then you're on a quiet island with lots of bike space and some surfing beaches. The point really isn't to SEE stuff, although there...More

We spent the whole day on this island. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing. Walked along the beach which surprisingly wasn't crowded. Rented an electric bike for a really cheap price and was able to get across the entire island. Would definitely recommend hing up...More
