A small town and less busy, Jingtong is popular with a lover's bridge nearby the station and a Lantern Shaped Police Station. There's also a shop that sells bamboo for well wishers to make their wishes. Quite a sight different from other towns along Pingxi...More

Picked Jintong after reading about the wooden railway station. It is somewhat similar to Shifen but much lesser crowd. No sky lantern here but a lot of bamboo for wishing. Lesser food stalls as well but I prefer the atmosphere here.
