For me, this place looks like a compact version of the forbidden city in beijing china. However, I find this place more organized without the hustle and hustle of the one in beijing. It is a much more relaxed place to visit. There is hardly...More

Although the building itself is not very old, the style is a traditional one. I am sure that you can take nice pictures here. The entrance is free. If you walk from the station, it takes about 20 minutes.

Really nice temple. It is a big temple located right within the busy hustle bustle of Taichung. Magnificent temple architecture. Very peaceful from the moment you step inside the gate. This temple is about 40 something years old and it still looks like new. It's...More

Not a bad shrine, but not a lot to do here. However, my friends and I met here and walked to the Paochueh Temple and then looped back to the Yizhong Night Market to make a complete trip.

This temple is very traditional. It has an incredible level of details and you could spend hours enjoying the hand-crafted work which it took to construct the temple. The gardens are nice and very symmetrical. They have events there at time. Not on the day...More

All of the temples within this complex are interesting, and the place isn't usually too busy. The doors are usually open to the public, though you aren't allowed in the area past the bathrooms despite that door sometimes being open, too.
