It was raining heavily the day we visited, which ended up spending a lot of time in the restaurant and the pastry shop. We got our 伴手礼 - 咬人猫酥饼, etc back for friends.

Nothing much to see in this village. Located very far from other attraction area and you need to rent a car to be there. Nothing much to see and not many visitors as well.

Get street food and noodles in this cute Japanese replica of a village. It is the perfect ending to a day of hiking in the Xitou Forest next door.

I went here after my 4hr-walk in Xitou Nature Park. It's a good place to pass the time while waiting for the last bus back to Jiji Station.

We didn’t visit the Xitou Monster Village, but made a brief stop enroute from Shanlinxi. It was late afternoon on a weekday, and the bus line was absolutely packed with people waiting for the last Taiwan Haoxing (台湾好行)bus headed to Taichung. The bus came, some...More

I din't know if you still want to know an answer to this question. While searching, I found that there is a bus between Puli and Xitou, and there is also a bus from Sun Moon Lake to Puli. So maybe the easiest way is to... More
