It took about four attempts to find the enterance to the Observation deck. It was dated and most certainly showed its age. I am not sure I would bother if I were back in Kaohsiung.

Came here with my family for a holiday. The hotel staff tries their best but there is an obvious problem with the management of the hotel. The bedsheets were not fresh. I suspect they did not change it for a few rounds of guests and...More

Compared to Taipei 101 it is much cheaper, much quieter and has more interesting views. Great views of the city and harbour with quite good photo opportunities depending on what time of day you go. I think it is best to visit in the morning.

It was on Monday, hence only few people on the deck. Relaxing while playing games, chit chatting with a cup of coffee on the highest building around town. Some renovation was going on tho.

10 minutes away from sanduo MRT station. Easy to locate from a distance and easy to ask for directions to. Many entrances, which is confusing. Reception/security counter? At the main entrance is extremely unhelpful. No attempts to help in direction, other than to direct everyone...More

If you got to Taipei 101 in Taipei, you'll find a newer, taller building. But it's the other end of the island! If you have been up Taipei 101, or Empire State Building, or Hancock Building, you know what it's like. I still think its...More

There are a few entrances to the building- enter through the hotel entrance & stick to your left. Go past the bakery. It will then look like a giant jewelry store. Turn left down the hallway before entering the jewelry store. Walk past the elevators...More

Looking at the disproportionately large jewelry shop on the ground floor made us so confused. At first we didn't know where its entrance was, but any way we made it to the tourists' lobby (?). Yet the shops were all old and strange to us......More

It has been more than 13 years since my last visit. One thing I would say about this hotel is that the staff are all very friendly and very helpful; concierge staff are very helpful and attentive; check-in and check-out are all very fast. Please...More

I had my high tea in this building. It has more than 300 different shops which offer all sorts of meals; some even required reservation. I don't think 2 hours is sufficient if you would like to shop around and enjoy the food. Coincidentally there...More
