You can see shangrila hotel from the station. This station is not very big, so you can't lost here. It only have 2 platform so it's easy to take :)

Any guy who is a guy loves trains. The museum was cool and I took a nice poster home and had it farmed. It's really fun to see all the old engines

used this place twice on our travels in Taiwan - staff helpful and we managed to book tickets no problem and there is a lift to help you over the platform with your luggage

The park outside the station was beautiful, the station was conveniently located as many bus stops to different destinations in Tainan could be caught. The station, itself, however, really needs to be improved, especially the departure hall.

Tainan railway station was built in 1900, the station design using symmetrical T-type layout; for the corridor, there are three vaulted channels for the entrance and to provide passengers with access to the hall and vehicles.
