The pier is located far from metro station so if you’re looking for a stroll in the streets of Taipei it will suit you. There are some artworks in the pier and a light breeze from the river. We think there will be cruise boats...More

the Pier is nothing to rave about. Not exactly an attraction that one would be excited. Can be given a miss

We went a little after noon so it was really really hot! People were biking around and it's probably a nice hangout place if we went another time. I think it's better to go to Dadaocheng Wharf in the evening. Adding this to my bucket...More

The pier is, in my opinion, simply a starting point to explore Taipei from a unique perspective- via a walking/biking path that wends its way along the city’s waterways. At the pier itself, there are boats that offer tours along with benches/seating areas. It’s close...More

Dadaocheng Wharf is very near Dihua road so you can explore both places while you are in the area. The wharf used to be the main trading area and boats would leave/arrive with their goods (tea, textiles, cotton and silk, but nowadays it is a...More

Nothing special at all.A few interesting photos perhaps sunset it is better. But if your visiting the herb alley and tea shops in the neighborhood then check out the wharf.

This Pier is walled off from the rest of the area. Has a very wide pedestrian area for walking, sitting and enjoying the view. the view at sunset is very beautiful. There seem to be photographers there all the time taking pictures of the sunset.

We chanced upon this pier while visiting the Dadaocheng vicinity. It's nothing more just a local pier. Nothing interesting . Don't bother to make a special trip here unless you happen to visit the vicinity .

Quite hard to get to and not a whole bunch to see. There are locals playing chess and having picnics which is cool but not worth going to if your Taipei trip is short.

Not a lot to do here, but it is an excellent place to relax. The adjacent Dadaocheng neighbourhood is a fascinating place for a three-hour stroll. It preserves a lot of the older architecture of Taipei.
