The East Gate is right outside the Evergreen Maritime Museum and around the corner from Freedom Square and other adjacent attractions. Worth a quick visit, but should be treated as a quick sight to catch instead of the focus of a trip.

Situated in the centre of a really busy traffic island, it's not possible to get up close to this building, unlike it's sister, the North Gate. It's a pretty similar structure, but with a much larger and more prominent roof. Alas, you'll never get near...More

Now in the middle of a busy intersection, this was once an entry point to the walled city. It provides for nice photos with the cks memorial in the back.
