Every year during March and April, Matzu usually goes to travel, millions of people follow her night days, you guys must join them, very unforgettable experience.

This MaZhu temple is very popular with the locals and tourists. After the visit, you can stroll the streets which is very interesting and have a cup of coffe at 85 deg cafe! As this temple is out of Taichung city, it's an hour journey...More

This temple is very interesting because of the location: surrounded by markets and houses in the middle of a part of Taicung. The Arts in the basement is worthful to see, the temple inside is coulourful and impressing, always a lot of visitors there. Nice...More

We were lucky enough to get a tour of the temple and the treasures in the basement. We even saw some rituals performed while we were there. Excellent example of Mazu Temple. Large and ornate!

This temple is full of people/believers weekdays and weekends. You will be moved by how sincere the prayers are. This is the best place to know Taiwanese folk belief. There are also many stores nearby where sell local famous food and cakes. My favorite one...More
