It was amazing to see the history and old architecture in this area. Go to a hot spring place to relax and release all your stress.

It is a nice place to spend around 2 relaxing hours in hot baths. The hottest one is around 45 degrees. The place can be a bit cleaner, and sometimes behaviour of some guests is a bit annoying. Also lockers are unacceptably expensive. But once...More

This is a place easy to get to with natural hot spring. And around the area has lots of great street food and decent hotels offering.

Beitou is a hot springs area. It has been a popular spa destination for its hot springs since the Japanese colonial era (1895-1945). I am not all that keen on hot springs, but it's worth a try. Some of the spas are a bit down...More

I went to the public baths yesterday, they wanted to check my bathing costume and said it was not acceptable. They are average beach swimmers. They said I could buy one of theirs at TWD750 so I left. Their offered shorts were very Freddy Mercury,...More

Can't comment much on that hot spring in particular, but I was advised by the local taxi driver that public ones are quite dirty, would be better to pay a little more for a better experience :) Hope that helped!
