With all due respect to the tradition and history behind the performance, I personally did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The so called vocal music accompaniment was a very repetitive chant all through the show. There was not much correlation...More

My family and I come earlier to watch the Kecak dance. To our dismay, there are only few seats available for us and we have to seat separately. The crowd seats are not managed hence there are many loopholes and we are forced to fill...More

My boyfriend loved it but I was very distracted when people started to leave after 30 min. The show itself was ok.

We came to the show with high expectations that were certainly not met. Of course one should not expect to see a hundred-percent authentic ritual dance, but we felt the show was overly commercialised and touristy, especially from moment the white monkey enters the show....More

My husband and I have very different opinions about this. The first acts were very interesting. They provide a guide about the scenes and this are very helpful in understanding the story of Sita and Rama. The traditional Balinese movements are slow, elegant and I...More

It was very colossal and magnifigue traditional dance. You can't find other place in the world. Not only the dance, the location is supported the magic of the Kecak dan Fire Dance itself. Very good and green view in Uluwatu temple compound

The area is arranged in a semi-circle gallery. Sit in the centre, high up for the best view. The show continues even during the rain. The show ends in the darkness, so far better to have your own transportation. The local... More

It’s starts at 6 but I suggest getting there around 5 for a good seat and view of the sunset. We entered the theater area around 5:20 and there were lots of people already there.
