Somewhat dirty near restaurants. Sand on some of the beach is more pebbles than sand. Restaurants are poor quality.

The beach is quiet, but we didn't like it that is was not clean. It was just in front of the hotel we stayed, Sunwing Kamala Beach so we went there when it didn't rain. We were 2 weeks in the hotel and the weather...More

The place is great. It is perfect for young children and that they can enjoy the calm waters of the afternoon. The sunset is beautiful we took so many photos with our young children beautifully reflecting sunlight.

This is a lovely beach to visit. It's not super quite, but not very busy either. There is food and markets and massages all the way along the beach front. Definitely worth checking out!

Clean water at least compared to Bang Tao, nice infrastructure. In the minuses- a bit of litter in the sand and a big step in the sea washed by waves during high water, not really easy to get into and out of the sea

Very nice although the beach near the Sunwing hotel needs a good clean up. It has plenty of shade a a couple of beach clubs plus the usual beach bars and vendors.

We spent 7 days in Kamala and most of each day on the beach. We preferred the area in the middle backed by a row of palm trees- these are good for shade. The beach gently shelves and there are pleasant waves and the sea...More

Hi Rajat. The closest town u can go to Kamala town which is less crowded the Patong area. U can actually rent a motorbike which is quite cheap and useful for your travel around.

Plenty of transport options, you'll find tuk tuks around the hotel entrance and parked on the street. I didn't see a lot of bikes around though. Novotel to Kamala town is about a 15min walk, but will cost approx 200baht... More

Sorry to tell you but it is a long way away so I would recommend a tuk tuk. Hope that helps.
