Kamala is the place for family. Not so crowded, easy acces to restaurants and the beach. Lived it and lived it. Now on our way to Rawai.

Worth a visit, nice and quiet compared to Patong. However there was a bit of rubbish lying about and the beach was also quite muddy due to the rainy season. Lots of shops and good food nearby.

Hi Rajat. The closest town u can go to Kamala town which is less crowded the Patong area. U can actually rent a motorbike which is quite cheap and useful for your travel around.

Plenty of transport options, you'll find tuk tuks around the hotel entrance and parked on the street. I didn't see a lot of bikes around though. Novotel to Kamala town is about a 15min walk, but will cost approx 200baht... More
