Its length is about two hundred meters, and its architecture dates back to the early days when the Republic of China was newly established. Architecture buffs will enjoy this display of Japanese colonial architecture. Peruse historic relics and stores selling art and ceramics. Be sure to visit Zushi Temple, considered to be one of the most beautifully sculpted in Taiwan.

Charming old street with many yummy street food. Eg sweet potato fries coated with caramelised sugar, ginger soft sweet, pig’s blood, smelly tofu etc. But they are famous for their bread that’s shaped like a horn and comes in different flavours. Crowded on weekend.

Revisiting this old street bought back fond memory from six years ago. In many ways, it is still the same - the gallery sales the stone sāmaṇera, the brush store, the soap shop... then some store sale new style merchandise. The buildings on the street...More

Not a must-see for me. It was raining so perhaps this is a stop to make on a sunny day. I was not impressed.

Small shops, some selling traditional clothing style, handmade calligraphy brushes, and many selling giant bullhorn pastries. A temple is there as well. During the afternoon is good to visit as most food stalls are open and it's not crowded.

This was a fun street if you enjoy shopping and older buildings. Many buildings are over 100 years old. Try the bullhorns – good pastry!

Great alternative to the night markets. Worth a few hours... might seem like a outdoor mall to some. They say its "old".. but that appears to be cosmetic as the brickwork looks fairly new, maintained and repetitive in design. Not exactly my definition of OLD.

Sanhsia Old Street is a tourist attraction, and there is a popular temple. So on Saturday there will be crowd, usually. May have more people after 10am. The Old Street at night has a different charm though.
