Although it could use a little lighting, it's an interesting stop to make. The manueline front door is magnificent, as is the ceiling and main altar inside although, as mentioned, you can't see much of the first due to lack of lighting.

Both the interior as the exterior are fantastic works of ichnographical dimension. The ceiling looks more like a tapestry than just simple wood painting. As a curiosity it all looks offside because there have been some violent seismic activity in the zone.

Very historic and interesting church, in many ways. This town once had a sinagogue which still exists with many original details that remained even after it was converted into a Catholic oratory.
