It would be easy (as well as tragic) to drive past and not know it is there. This temple has many unusual carvings, some quite modern (a guitarist) others old and primitive. It is certainly worth a visit if you are lucky enough to find out that it exists. There is a small admission charge and you should bring a... More

A lovely pink sandstone temple...there was only us and as it is this place rarely gets much tourists. Stroll around the temple gardens and enjoy the views and kids playing in rice fields behind the temple.

It took around 30 min to arrive from seirit ( were we stayed ) with scooter. This temple is small, beautiful carvings.. worth a visit while you are in Lovina. Ticket is Rp.10.000/person.

During my visit in Indonesia, although many of the temples have beautiful carvings therein; this sandstone temple in Sangsit seems to be very rare that statues are... More

We only went to this temple because it was not too far from the place we stayed in Air Sanih. But we were so pleasantly surprised at seeing one of the most ornate temples in Buleleng. The walls of the temple are full of beautiful, intricate carving, some of the fine details are still very well preserved. Tranquil and manageable... More

Intricate carvings and beautiful lay out. The original coloring remains in parts of the complex. Beautiful, quiet and a must visit.

It's located in Sangsit. This temple is very unique and beautiful. Worth visiting after watching dolphins in Lovina.
