This temple is spread among several floors each more beautiful than the previous one. It start with a modest entry, then a pond, then a place with two Buddha, one in meditation pose, the other laid. One level upper is a little pagoda in which a beautiful representation of Buddha is lightened with eeriness. The last level is the main... More

This place is a must experience. Absolutely a wonderful place to meditate. I spent 60 minutes in meditation and totally lost myself. The energy was powerful and flowing. A gentle graceful energy that is tough to put into words. This is a spot to allow shifts to occur and resolve what is no longer working for you. A special place... More

I think this is definitely worth a visit. It just goes on and on, from one temple to another...up and up. We found the whole experience delightful and nourishing for the soul. If you are of a spiritual nature you will find this particularly enjoyable, especially being able to just sit and 'be' or light incense in front of the... More

Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastry is situated on the northern mountain slope in Singaraja district. This place is localized with green moun6tain Territorials and beautiful sea view on the north Bali. To reach this place is to get private transport from Lovina beach.

Looks very impressive from the outside, but badly maintained and cheaply done inside. What a disappointment

Located in Banjar district, far away from the city crowded. Take a main road to Singaraja and you'll pass this monastery. Actually this Vihara is very authentic, almost all the statue is only Buddha and almost no incense smoke, very quiet and feel so sacred. No ticket entry, nothing make you spend money, only a donation if you like, put... More

A beautiful and peaceful place with lovely lawns. It was raining on and off when we got there so it was cooler and our umbrella helped us when the sun came out.

This was the best temple I visited in Bali. There's a lot of stairs and this area of the island gets really hot during the day so bring water. It's difficult to get here by yourself so hire a taxi to take you here. Not many people visit this temple so it's very quiet. Very peaceful place with nice views.
