Perfect place to read a book while listening to the falling water and feel the breeze... We really enjoyed our holidays and hope you guys also visit this place. An hour walking/trek from port Barton town and you can also rent a motorbike in Port Barton.

Walked there from Port Barton. Nice walk (or work out) through the jungle and refreshing swim at the falls. We took a tricycle from the falls to the beautiful small village and beach of Pamuayan.

Its a combination of hiking and trekking going to the falls. A must do if you want to experience island and jungle trip in port barton. Along the way you can stay at tentstar eco resort and also visit a secluded beach in pamuayan. You can also rent a mountain bike for p250 located in fron of rubins hotel.

I took a motor bike up to the falls and walked back - took an hour. I was the only one there and it was incredibly peaceful with lots of butterflies and dragon flies. It was a nice day trip if you enjoy a good walk.

We walked both there and back.. It is quite a walk in the heat, so take water. We saw a monitor lizard and a small snake so that was cool!! The walk is predominantly along a road, it's not busy but nor is it picturesque.
Once arriving and making a 'donation' (not sure who to) the last 1km or so is through the jungle and relatively flat - though not at all accessible.
There's a bit of shelter there to store your bags while you take a swim, but nowhere to change as such.
You'll be greatful of the cold water after the walk.
There is a small shop at the entrance to buy drinks should you need them.. You'll also normally see a tricycle or 2 should you need a lift back to town.

The morning we were stuck as heavy rain but cleared around midday, being with Filipino friends we decided to go to the waterfall, we walked along the beach and then up a hill and through a cemetery, this is where it got interesting on the main road my friend shouted to a construction lorry which way to the waterfall, to which he said climb in so we did and took us half way, then we walked through through a jungle and finally came to a check point where you have to register and give a donation which I gave 100pesos seemed everyone above me gave the same amount.
We walked a little bit further and as we were all hot it was a nice cool refreshing dip, there were some Filipino boys jumping off the side wouldn't recommend it, but it was a pleasant day out if you like walking.

The walk there is 90 minutes over a dusty main road. We read online it was a jungle walk but is not really. The waterfall is however worth it. Great place for swimming and just general chilling. Take a trike if you don't want to walk.

The highlight for me was the walk to the Falls. Beautiful, so green and lush.
The falls are nice, refreshing and quiet if you’re lucky to be there by yourself.
I had a few moments of peace until a large group arrived and started playing music, smoking and talking loud.
It’s a beautiful place, beautiful butterflies flying around and just pure nature.
It’s worth it !!

I had read it is a 5km bumpy ride from town and it still is but most of the way is now under road construction. The first trike guy I asked wanted 1000P return which I knocked back. I asked at the Transport Services counter at Bamboo House and secured a trike for 500P return. Entry by donation (50P) and takes about 10-15 minutes to walk there along the river. Worth the effort for a waterfall experience.

It's called long for a reason - almost 15 km of clean sand all to yourself. Highly recommend going from one end to the other.
