We’ve been here numerous times but most recently this summer. It really is a beautiful place. A lovely place to have a peaceful stroll. The route around the lake is fairly easy in walking shoes- my 18 month old little boy managed it!! There is...More

Beautiful place to visit for all ages. Well worth a visit. Fantastic scenery, lots to do. Swimming in the lake was lovely, even if it was a bit chilly!

The lake was very low level, and the family swimming area (man made lake) was good. Toilets and first aid/life guards on site. A good scenic place for a safe wild swim!

Cycled round the lake before stopping for a picnic. We then pumped up our paddle board and spent a fun hour on the lake.

So the main lake can be swum in, and is beautiful, but next to it is a purpose built swimming lake with shelved entry point. In the summer it's lovely for the kids. I haven't seen a lifeguard here, but we last swum in it...More

Beautiful lake. We hired kayaks and a paddle board. Be warned though cash is needed, they don’t take credit cards for payment for the hire of the kayaks. The staff were helpful. Life jackets were provided. The hire was very reasonable. 6 euros for half...More

The views are fabulous and the lake great to swim in, though due to the heatwave the lake level was several meters lower than usual resulting in getting in and out of the lake being more difficult than usual. There is the ability to hire...More

The view is stunning, the lake looks great. Rented a paddle board and after wading though the silt, dead fish (seriously) and old bits of concrete block, took out a rental paddle board that would not go straight- turns out there was no fin to...More

A beautiful picturesque lake in the mountains. Swimming in the summer is a must! The walk round is about 2km and is a nice walk even on a rainy day! You can get public buses there from morzine

It is a mountain lake, above 1000m in altitude. Swimming without wetsuits will be for very short periods only. Nearby, Lac Leman, which never freezes and is at only 374m, never gets above 19 Celsius. I swam there 2 weeks... More

I would be very surprised if the pony rides are open as holiday activities tend to close at the end of August. The restaurant at the lake is open all year and the walk around the lake and then up to the cascade is... More
