Really impressive caves and well organised tour (only in French but they do give you a card with an overview in English). The sound and light show at the end was unexpected and magnificent

You will need a car as the cave complex is quite remote although there may be organised trips from Carcassonne. The caverns are beautifully lit and extensive. The formations are colorful and interesting and our guide was excellent combining information and humour in French English...More

We visited the Grotte de Limousis for the first tour of the day - hire car needed unless there are any organised trips from Carcassonne. We couldn't believe our luck, as other than one other lady, my husband and I had the tour of the...More

We turned up at 11.30 and just managed to squeeze onto a tour. I noticed that the next tour was at 2.30pm so very glad we made it as the caves are remote. We really enjoyed going through the different parts of the cave and...More

I had just enough time after my Lastours castle exploration to get to the caves here before they closed, so I went for it. It's actually a pretty good cave, with some good stalactite and stalagmite formations. Our tour wasn't advertised as being in English,...More

Didn't know what to expect at this attraction, but boy did it deliver, this place is amazing. The French tour guide was great fun and quirky in his delivery. He took the time to explain to the French and English speaking tourists in their respective...More

Limousis cave may not be as big as that of Cabrespine, but it is certainly worth visiting. The concretions of aragonite it displays are an incredible sight. They are like very fine stalactites going in all directions. In this cave they look like feathers. Unforgettable.

An ok excursion with a nice drive into the hills. Caves are ok and there are a few to walk through, however disappointingly although the guide gave information in French and Spanish, and could speak English, he refused to give any information in English -...More

We chose to visit these caves on a day when the weather wasn't so good. We weren't disappointed! There was a lot to see - lots of different 'rooms' and some lakes too. These are probably the most impressive caves that we've been to. Good...More

We just turned up at the advertised time and were able to join a group of about 30. Not sure in peak season though - might be worth checking.
