Bureh is just perfect. Beautiful scenery, with mountains in the back, the white beach and the palms and the breeze... I wish I could go back any time. The fresh seafood you order at the beach restaurant is delicious (don't miss the LOBSTERS) and you...More

Fantastic beach - super sandy and the sea was lovely and warm! Great beach huts to stay in and fresh lobster and crab for dinner. Couldn't have asked for a better start to my week long holiday in Sierra Leone! Will be back :)

A quicker drive than to River No. 2 Beach if you are staying south of Freetown, it appeared untouched by corporate hands. Clean (relatively), pristine beach with an island swimming distance from shore (if you are a good swimmer...). We paid 50,000 Leones per person...More

The beach is a dream but the accomendaton even though being a low budget hotel in a resource poor place has all the possibilities for improvement. No running water, nor closing mosquito fence and a friendly but extra ordinary slow service. The view even in...More

Recommended for beach day getaway or more. Attractive scenery: white sand, clear, clean water, distant mountains and hearty black stones. Some pitched tents the evening before, there's affordable accommodations to create your length of stay even just for a day. It's worth the scenery and...More

Spectacular beach, one of the friendliest and most fun places you can ever go in the world. Beautiful white sandy beach, mountains in the background, welcoming locals and chilled out bar a walk away from the sea. Incredible Stay either at Levi's or Prince's, both...More

Australeone or the surf club if you like the company of a young crowd without much comfort (simple huts, tents), Lumthubul Gardens for privacy (self-contained bungalows). All these are directly on the beach.
