The most northern Dead Sea beach on the western (Israeli) side, Just 25 minutes drive from Jerusalem. Simple and very accommodating beach; an open cafe with special water-cooling fans enables a 360° view over the Judean and the Jordanian desert and the Dead Sea. The shore is large and allows shaded spots alongside sunbathing chairs. Another snack bar is located next to shore. Health treatments are available.

Our experience here was nice in that there are changing rooms and a shower afterwards to wash away the salt water. The water in the Dead Sea allows one to lay down and be buoyant. Sun shade umbrellas and plastic chairs are provided at no...More

It is best option if you are travelling to Dead Sea and Jerusalem in the same day, because it's the northest you can hit Dead sea in Israel. Facilities are not great but they are good enough. We had a great time.

it was a good beach, not many people there, you can easily find dead sea mud there to spread on your skin.

Great economic way to visit the Dead Sea! We took the bus 486 from Jerusalem (26 nis for the day ticket) and payed 59nis for the entrance fee. This beach has showers, towels (19 nis) and small lockers (15nis). I would strongly recommend it!

Its different from other beaches in But may ways. Firstly , its the lowest point on earth and as you travel from Jerusalem you can feel the pressure in your ears as if you were landing on a plane. Secondly, the salinity is very high...More

VERY salty water supposedly rich in chemicals that are good for the skin - but you can't get the water in your eyes and you definitely need a shower after you float on the water. Float! You can't sink in Dead Sea water. Some people...More

This was a welcome stop amidst many tour stops. The beach front has showers, and for those of us who forgot towels, towels for rent. The gift shop has delicious dried fruits, try the red hibiscus! A truly fun experience all the way around.
