How often do you get to cross the equator? For us, monthly. But it never loses its charm. The white stripe on the road and the two round markers are always landmarks we look for when traveling the Masaka highway.

It is very good place. You actually explore the difference of "On Southern Hemisphere" / "On Northern Hemisphere" / "On Equator". It is well demonstrated through movement of water in a bowl. In 1 hemisphere, the water moves in clockwise direction whereas in other hemisphere...More

The place give an amazing view of the sun set, it is filled with nature in its self. This is most definitely a site to see, one has to have paid it a visit to get the feeling i have right now. beautiful

Well it was interesting to be standing on the equator line and take photos there was a water experiment (i thing there is a trick behind it) but it was worth watching :) Souvenirs shops are all around and the pizzeria is really tasty

We visited on the way to Gorilla Trekking. Not much more than a photo op and bathroom break. The vortex display (different directions of spin) is a scam but how can you resist for 10,000 shillings (about $3).

Worth a visit either en-route to the West or as a day trip. Nice cafe (Children Aid) near by with lots of curio's shops
