Yes it's Monastery, but that's about it really. Tiny exhibition and little to see. Not worth going here.

This is a nice monastery. It is old enough and has a lot of history. It is an interesting place to visit before of after a swim at Elafonisi or Kedrodasos. Near there is also Leuki Limni, a place from paradise, where you can swim.

The church is small and not particularly lavish by Greek Orthodox standards. The museum is too dark to see anything. Don't moan at the €2 admission just think of it as a charitable donation to the Local economy.

Coming here the route from Chania or Kissamos is just fantastic as you can see the little gorge of Topolia and innumerous other little natural beauties almost untouched . The Monastery stands on a very panoramic spot and you can have an unforgetable sunset ....More

We had been to Elafonissi beach for swimming/sun bathing,on the way back to apts.stopped off here for 15 mins or so,used the toilets.You can go up to and in to the Monastery, entrance fee 2€

We stopped off here on our way to Elafanissi beach. It's an easy walk up the steps with great views. Lots of history.

There is a cracking beach not far from there with beautiful pink-sand with a few taverna's.
