We were travelling between Presov and Bratislava. This castle is readily availagble from the D1 highway and is worth the couple of hours needed to visit. There is little parking available and, depending on the tourist load, you may end up parking on the road...More

Weather changed quickily during my visit, but wonderful views from far away. There is free parking next to the castle. 8 euro entrance ticket, 10 euro deposit for renting sound guide.

My wife and I visited here while traveling through Slovakia and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fascinating to explore with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Would highly recommend it.

I happened to wander in on a free day, which made things even better, but this was definitely my favorite castle visit in Eastern Europe. I didn't use the audio tour device, which I think would've improved things even more, but even just to walk...More

There is an additional charge if you want an audio guide. I did not get it, wish I would of. A lot more there to see than I thought. Very well presented.
