Kids loved this prehistoric museum / it's been refurbished to a super high standard. Kids and parents loved it. You have to make sure you enjoy some of the workshops and demos which they run - brilliant.

I appreciate people we have spoken to do not like the new building attached to the old chateau but I think it looks excellent facilities are good too, as well as the grounds and car park spacious.
And what a location.
We stayed in this small town as a base to visit some of the châteaux in the area. Moral of this story? Don't ignore what's on your doorstep! We certainly hadn't expected to find such an incredible and extensive collection in such a small town,...More
