Not a great deal to do - a few restaurants all doing the same sort of food. Staying 4 days couldn’t really tolerate much longer. 2 of the days were holidays in Thailand so mostly full of locals eating som tam and littering the beach....More

Pak meng beach has a some different markets and shops, but not much choice though. The beach itself is not that great, with murky waters and very high tides (over 2,5 meters). Go to some of the nearby islands if you want great beaches!

Pak meng beach is located near our residence for a week, Anantera. As we liketocycle around we came into PakMeng Beach as Well. Disappointing place. Bit run down, No realnice restaurants (Only in the national park area afew). Beach is ok but that’s it.

It’s a sandy Shale beach which is tidal. Views are good but would not recommend swimming in it. Water is not clear and due to tide looks merky

Local Restaurants all along the beachfront - then you can just cross the road and have a picnic on the beach facing beautiful limestone islands. There are chairs, table and umbrellas set up to sit on.

This beach has some stunning views of of the islands just off shore. It is quiet and relaxing. There were also a number of interesting shells lying on the beach. Water temperature was quite comfortable.

I stayed there for two nights and went snorkelling around the Andaman sea. The beach itself is neither that pristine nor stunning unlike Phuket or Krabi but at least it is not crowded with tourist.
