I had not been here in years. I t was a surprise to see people can now swim in the lake formed by the dam and even jump into water from the rocks. Seemed a little dangerous but adventurous. On previous visits (years ago) we...More

Great lake, Cafe is very ordinary - operates literally out of a shed. If the cafe was upgraded to commercial quality - this place could be so much better. The natural beauty saves this location. COuncil have spent a lot of money recently upgrading the...More

What a lovely find. Large lake that can be walked around. Lots of families and couples doing the circuit. Cafe to get some coffee. Picnic tables or grassed areas for picnics. Small playground for younger children. Plenty of parking spots when we were there.

One of the very few refuges of native plants and wildlife left in the Sydney basin. Native birds of all kinds, finches, parrots, and water birds. Easy walking tracks. In the evening, bats and possums come out.
