Despite there being plenty of vacationers like us, we had our choice of where to plant our beach blanket. The water was inviting, and the waves were exciting. Bonus points for being surrounded by a variety of restaurants and snack bars.

Lovey beach but very dangerous. Our two young ones are strong swimmers but were caught in a rip tide and it took quite a bit to get them out. Thanks to all those who assisted including very fast moving lifeguards who were on hand. Please,...More

This stunning little bay is located at the south side of Phuket island. It is secluded and not crowded. Waves are high so there are a few surfers around. Beware of the little red flags for area not allow for swimming.

A good choice for beach lover who wants a less crowded place to swim and suntan. Location can be quite remote so planning of transportation before hand would be good if not staying nearby hotels.

Nai Harn is one of the nicest beaches in Phuket. The beach is not long so it is not so crowded. The view from the beach is incredible. You will see an island, phrom thep cape and windmill view point from Nai Harn. The sand...More

Lovely place to spend the day, not much shade on the beach so the beach chairs with umbrellas for 100 baht a day are a good option. The water is clean and warm but a little rough (we saw more than one women lose her...More

Beach was not that crowded. Eateries nearby, offering fresh seafood, both western and thai cruisine.

In the south of the Phuket. There are few people there, not like Patong beach. The sea and beach is clean, but no fish. The waves are high so be careful.

Gorgeous beach, the water is so warm, great waves for body surfing. Plenty of cheap restaurants to eat at, lifeguards on beach and just overall a 10/10 place.

Lovely beach. Very busy at times, depending on when you go. Lots of places to eat nearby. Just be aware of the flags the lifeguards place, they are there for your safety

Hi there, We did not see any jelly fish here, but there are so called 'sea lice' in the water all around the island. They are invisible to the naked eye, but they can give you a very little electric shock type of sting. They... More

You can still rent chairs. There's just not as many as prior years. You can't buy beers on the actual beach but the restaurants are still there. You have to walk up and get your own beers. It's a better experience with a... More

Hi Jim. I was there in late January. There were only mats and umbrellas. If there were beds I certainly didn't see any.
