Reached during a marriage. There was a good crowd and so the temple was open till noon. Normal timings 12 but it was open till 12.30 almost.Stones were hot and difficult for little kids and elder people. Plan accordingly.

Shiv Parvathy temple located near chengannur railway station.Ideal temple to visit and rest if you are travelling to sabarimala from outside kerala and reach through train to chengannur.You will feel refreshed after the darshan.

Though in general Siva temple will have prime focus on Lord shiva, here in this temple main focus is on prvathi. spacious temple. walkable from railway station and bus stand. auto available at affordable rates.

Temple is situated at Chengannur. This is a famous Shiva Parvathy temple. One of the famous festival is Thripputh aarattu which is the menstrual period of Parvathy devi.
