Seeing the spices growing in their natural state, hearing the story of the farm, buying the honey, the plants and the spices. I totally love this experience! This is a must do for anyone visiting the area.

We took a tram tour around the farm. It's much more than spices ... Citrus flowers coffee and of course the spices. The tour around the farm is very well thought out ... even if rain no problem. Our guide very extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended

Thanks for the detailed review. We are glad you enjoyed the tour. It is hard to do any out door activities in Belize in rainy season without getting wet. We have planned for the rainy season so that the guests can choose to stay dry

Got bit several times at the Spice Farm tour I got bit by a black flying insect several times. We did bring bug spray with us but I forgot to put some on. We sat in the back of the tractor ride and our daughter who was carrying the bug spray sat in the very front while we went through the tour and I kept feeling something bite my ankles I would look down and see a black flying insect. I tried to shake my legs as to not cause a scene and scream and ruin the tour for everyone but it kept coming back to bite. This ruined the trip for me as all I could focus on was my ankles as if I took my eyes off for a minute and I stopped shaking my legs I would get bit again. Now 2 weeks later I have these swollen bites that are uncontrollably itchy. Can someone tell me what bit me so I can look up how to treat the bites?
