Beautiful sights but Very challenging and tough way to gomukh. I was alone in my trip of gangotri park, I felt and listened the Divine voice of Ganges. It was amazing

The Gangotri national park is situated 4 kms from Gangotri town and is a gateway for the gomukh and Tapowan trek. People who trek towards gomukh needs to submit their permit register themselves at the forest department office near the park gate.

The national park has taken good care of the trek route in such a rough terrain. It gives you some majestic views of Shivling and the Bhagirath peaks.
