This ancient temple is just opposite Kashi Vishwanath temple. Shakti here is worshiped in the form of a stupendous iron and copper trident draped in red. The temple is in the same complex as the ancient Vishwanath temple.

Wonderful temple. Under construction outside right now, but still beautiful feeling inside. We visited 20 years and 10 years ago. They appear to be expanding the facilities around the temple.

This is the first stop before Vishwanath darshan. It's Busy but possible to step back and close your eyes in a back corner. Huge trident in ground is worshipped as Shiva's shakti. Very powerful shrine in the whole area.
