There is a wide a variety of aircraft from WW1 to relatively recent. Many are seen flying. The mock WW1 dogfights are fun. An interesting Vietnam war collection.

Highly recommend the Warplane Museum at Hanger 101. There was so much more there than we expected and spent a long time looking and reading and interacting with some of the displays. We had a wonderful volunteer/guide John (fromTAS) who showed us around answering our...More

This place is really worth a look. It's really nice to be able to look at all the old planes. They staff are really friendly and full of so much information.

I was not expecting such a great collection of aircraft but I have been a few times now and find it a great museum. Some beautifully restored craft and engines and seeing the F111 up close is a real privilege.

When we went to this place half the stuff wasn't there as it was away getting serviced which is understandable but just felt they could have got around that some how. On other hand the volunteers are amazing and very sightful and welcoming

If you're into warplanes or militaria. etc this is the place for you, only a small museum but they cram a lot of exhibits in. There are planes being rebuilt, static displays and you might even see one flying. There are open days and combined...More
