It’s a bit of a steep walk down to the falls so wear shoes good for walking, can be slippery. There is an entrance fee of 25 pesos per person and 50 pesos to park a car (the driver is included with the parking fee). Locals have set up little stalls where you can buy bottles of water or other drinks, some fruit and snacks. We didn’t swim, but other were swimming at the bottom of the falls.

Just like you, i was having a hard time figuring out which waterfall to visit in Bohol. I shortlisted Magaso and the Twins. But when i asked a local driver in Bohol, he told me Camugao is the one to go to in Summer. I trusted him and off we went. Absolutely beautiful! It is 1 hour from Alona beach. With a lot of water, a pretty high waterfall. There is also a nice place to dive. It is still not owned by the local authorities and so there is no entrance fees. But there are some lovely locals there who will guide you. The walk is a little slippery and steep so wear appropriate footwear. Walk is 15 minutes from road. There are like 6 floaters there. So first come first serve. You can buy water before you start the walk to the waterfall. We spent over 2 hours at Camugao. Enjoy Philippines! It is indeed paradise!

It's a bit of a heavy climb and ride but we'll worth it. I would recommend it highly if you are not afraid of the ride / climb to it.

Great, still very natural falls. The most beautiful thing about is the walk from about half an hour trough pur nature to get there.

Bohol is already synonymous with Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, Panglao Beaches & Diving. However, there is more to Bohol than the ordinary tours and customary tourist spots. If you want to go on adventure, visit the amazing Waterfalls of Bohol Island! I bet it will be the highlight of your tour! I came across this tour after a backpacker who also in the smae place i stayed in told me about it and recommended his habal habal driver (habal-habl is a motorcycle). I am not planning to go there but since my original plan won't push through becaus e of the weather, I decided to give it a try. It is rainy season during my travel (June-October) and I never thought that it is the best decision that I made during my Bohol Travel.
Camugao Falls is 1 hour away from Panglao. There is a very short trek going to the area with trail going to the falls (wear hiking shoes/sandals). You can do cliff jumping and swimming in the area.
Definitely a not so usual Bohol tourist spot.

if you want a waterfall all to yourself, this is for you.
We had a scooter and drove ourselves here . If you buy a data card ( we went globe) it will be easy for you to find.
We went late afternoon and was such a beautiful sport for a swim and no one was here!
you pay an entrance fee + parking fee up the top. the locals will guide you to the path, which is quiet steep and rocky. but once your down you dont care !

This is a hidden gem inside a laid back town of Balilihan, Bohol.
You can swim, enjoy the view or relax while drinking some fresh young coconut juice.
The water is clean and perfect for a warm sunny day.
Going there might be a bit of a challenge but once you'll get there you'd know that it's all worth it.
