We were staying at Patong. However, we decided to see this beach. Not much crowded. The water was clean. We hired 2 day beds at 100 THB each. We spotted water sports as well. Nearby is a shower for a marginal amount I think 20...More

A must see beach. It's on the quiet side. Water is crystal clear. Good lounge and drink options. Not large varieties of food outlets along the beach. But generally as a beach one of the better ones in Phuket. Makes patong look poor.

Such a beautiful place;white sand; blue sea and not too busy! Amazes me why all the punters go to Patong beach; this place is a haven. Not the best on Phuket by any means; but all you need; lots of sun beds if that your...More

I really dont understand Why only few % of people in Phuket come to this amazing beach and most of them stay in dirty Patong. But honestly I am happy for that! Not crowded, white sand, very clean sea! Restaurants around are little bit pricey...More

A fair stroll from where we were staying in Karon, but worth it. Much quieter, much more picturesque and a lovely place to spend a few hours. Steep steps down to the beach if you are coming from the north, in case that’s a problem...

Walkable (15 minutes) from the south end of Kata town . A lot of steps down to it ( & up again!) Not much natural shade on the beach... Just a small area at the north end, pitch up early! Hardly anywhere to get refreshments,...More

Hi, I was already more than 40 times in different places in Thailand and yes also in the Kata Thani hotel. The beach is lovely, but we can say that there are many beautifull beaches in Phuket, like Surin Beach, Bang Thao... More

hi. Thailand is great place almost all the year. Depend on wheather conditions - if you prefer very hot end of year, modest in half. March probably about 30 degrees ;)

We are here now and I was surprised at how many Russians are here, definitely more than there were back in 2008... it seems like a quarter of the Russian population is here? I don't remember any being here back then.
