Really high alltitude location, worth a visit and / or a stay. I would love to see it in the winters, but apparently water supply freezes and all hotels shut down.

The drive to reach Chitkul is scary at times but once you reach the place its heaven on earth .. the entire mountain range is beautiful.

picturesque & shade at every fold, at every time during day to night. Actually the Beautiness of this reqion cannot be explain by writing or telling, to feel you have to visit these reqion.

The route to Chitkul was breath taking...it was a little crowded once we reached the village though...It was peak season so crowd was expected.

We were a group of 8, families with kids. Had to choose between stopping over at Chitkul or Sangla. HPTDC recommended staying at Sangla and touring Chitkul on a day trip. However, decided otherwise and ......thank God ! we did That ! Theres no comparison....More

Must visit destination near sangla. The place is really mind blowing. Roads towards Chitkul was not in good shape but the destination is mind blowing.
