If you are fit go to the top of the falls and walk down, or else drive to the base and walk up to see the bottom three cascades. There is an dark atmosphere when the weather is overcast and dull but when the sun...More

We took the hike from the base of the falls all the way to the top. The views and experience are awesome - well worth it. It's not a stroll - but steps and rails help over the toughest bits. I had a hip replacement...More

Please don't go with sandles, sport shoes, this is a real hike. Walking boots, and even if you have sticks, they are worth it. It is slippery and the number of people slipping over or walking slowly for fear of slipping was mad. I would...More

We took the walk up through the water falls on a day after rain, which may have accounted for why there were so many people there, as there was lots of water flowing over the falls. We were very disappointed because the extent of the...More

After a day at Clairvaux lake we stopped on the drive back to Herisson, mainly because 'Hedgehog Falls' tickled me! My wife and 11 year-old wimped out early on but the 13 year-old and I pressed on up the hill. It was definitely worth the...More

We arrived knowing very little about the Falls of Herisson, other than that it was supposed to be lovely. Drove the long way around to the visitor centre (paid parking available), which starts at the base of the falls (eventail falls). From there, the trail...More

We had a nice hike and our children enjoyed splashing in the water. The trail was extremely crowded. Bathrooms and trails were clean, parking is easy.

Went twice in a couple of days before and after a winter freeze and it was spectacular!! It was practically empty of people so parking was free and plentiful. Went for a walk to the second falls and would absolutely go back again.
