Please don't go with sandles, sport shoes, this is a real hike. Walking boots, and even if you have sticks, they are worth it. It is slippery and the number of people slipping over or walking slowly for fear of slipping was mad. I would...More

We took the walk up through the water falls on a day after rain, which may have accounted for why there were so many people there, as there was lots of water flowing over the falls. We were very disappointed because the extent of the...More

After a day at Clairvaux lake we stopped on the drive back to Herisson, mainly because 'Hedgehog Falls' tickled me! My wife and 11 year-old wimped out early on but the 13 year-old and I pressed on up the hill. It was definitely worth the...More

This is one of the must see attractions in the area. The trail is well indicated and I would consider the hike to be of medium intensity. Although this could also be partly because we we're hiking with 3 kids (youngest aged 2). The views...More

We arrived knowing very little about the Falls of Herisson, other than that it was supposed to be lovely. Drove the long way around to the visitor centre (paid parking available), which starts at the base of the falls (eventail falls). From there, the trail...More

We had a nice hike and our children enjoyed splashing in the water. The trail was extremely crowded. Bathrooms and trails were clean, parking is easy.

Went twice in a couple of days before and after a winter freeze and it was spectacular!! It was practically empty of people so parking was free and plentiful. Went for a walk to the second falls and would absolutely go back again.

Very nice walk, with regular water falls. The path is very touristic, but the advantage in Fall is that there is not too much poeple on the way. The drawback however is the limited flow of water, and therefore small falls. I guess it is...More

We visited at the end of a rainy day at the start of our holiday. It really lifted our spirits. The waterfall is beautiful and a short walk from the bottom you can be sitting right up close. You are able to walk up the...More

We visited as a family of 4 back at the end of July 2016 and had some great sunny weather which made for a challenging walk. When I say challenging I am referring to the heat of the day and a 'not as fit as...More
