Since my wife leaves in the municipality of Argao. This place is not new to us, going to the spot to start the trek will just take you around 10-15 mins from our house. Since we had our own guide who knows the place we decided to just go without coordinating with the tourism office. For visitors, we suggest that you drop by the tourism office. The trek will just take around 2 hours with little rest in between. The terrain is easy to medium. The falls is really very nice since not a lot of folks have visited the place. Be cautious about crossing rivers or bathing in any falls when its rainy season, huge water might rush from the higher grounds.

I love the fact that the falls is shallow enough that a non-swimmer like me can swim without fear. I love the part where you have to rappel to get to the falls.

One thing though, there is no area where you can safely leave your things. You either bring your valuables with you and risk gettimg it wet or you leave it and pray nobody steals it.

A nice falls that flows from the river in Conalum, Argao. We made a side trip on this falls after our spelunking activity in the Balay sa Agta. Since the upstream of this falls is a river, please be careful during the rainy season for the threat of flash floods. We also explored the upper part of the falls and do river trekking before we went home.

How to get there? Make sure you drop by the Tourism office in Argao City if you plan to visit this place. Tourism Office do not collect fees, only the guide for the guide fee. Better negotiate first for the fee before you go to the place. From Argao City, you need to hire a motor bike (habal-habal). The cost before per person is 160 pesos back and forth including waiting time.
The barangay is also collecting a minimal fee of 15 pesos. During our visit, the guide fee 700 pesos per guide for the Balay sa Agta and Bugasok Falls.

If your trip is only Bugasok Falls, I don't think that you will need a guide from the Argao City going there. Just hire a habal-habal and go directly to Brgy. Conalum and pay the fee. Then proceed to the falls or ask for the locals to assist you.

Please note that my experience in Bugasok Falls was just our side trip after our spelunking activity in Balay sa Agta Cave.
