Right on gms road, around 4 kms from the railway station, Typical geological institute with rocks all around. Travel by auto or a shared auto ride ( VIKRAM) . Explore MoMo in and around and Chinese food, restaurants around are little expensive for an average...More

Dehradun has some of the institutes which are very rare and this one is one of them. The institute has a wonderful museum housing some rarest of specimens. God for those interested in geology. Th eplace provides peacful environment.

its a Institute famous for geological studies and students. there is nothing to visit in it till you are a researcher or interested in researching. to enter into the premises you need to take prior permission but.

takes you back in time. good place to check out if you want are interested in geology and Himalayas. closed between 1-2 pm. be ware not to go at that time.

Its a geology institute which does pioneering work in the area of understanding earth and its core. Its near FRI and IMA, more of a office lab setup.

Wadia is a place of institutional importance, it isnt a regular museum kind of thing. It is suitable for people who are working with geology, topology, contours . people interested in career in this field should check it out
