Lovely small protected beach. Fantastic safe and protected spot for running one’s dogs. They love it here and they’ll meet plenty of friends. Safe spot for a swim too if you’re so inclined. Full marks to the volunteers who do those little helpful things here.

We brought our dog here and walked all the way along the beach then into Martha Cove where we ate some lunch at a dog friendly cafe. There is an offlead beach at one end and some nice rocks for your dog to enjoy climbing around.

A bit of a hidden spot for tourists. Clean beach, not many facilities but one of the better beaches you will find nearby. Sand is not rocky and makes a great place to walk in winter.

Tassells Cove sits at the north end of Safety Beach under the lee of Mt Martha and at the entrance to Martha Cove. It is generally a protected small beach but when it blows from the west it presents differently . Often crowded with dogs and their masters today was just great surf views and no dogs or people.

This is a small sandy beach at the north end of Safety Beach on the other side of the inlet to Martha's Cove. Cliffs provide a back drop to the north. This is an off-leash area so expect a few dogs.

This is a small pleasant sandy beach, an extension of Safety Beach with the backdrop of cliffs at the Mt Martha side and the rocky entrance to Martha Cove Marina to the south. It has good sand, gently sloping into the water and a number of colorful beach boxes. Parking is very limited and the access is just before the bridge under the Martha Cove Marina entrance. on the left. You get great views of the boat activity in and out of Martha Cove Marina.
