This beach has neither white sand nor blue water but the locals flock here. Tourists make their way here too. There is a boardwalk that’s nice enough for a stroll. There are many restaurants and little hotels. The Philippines has lovelier beaches elsewhere but if...More

Daet, Camarines Norte is my hometown. And Bagasbas beach is one of my favorite place. Aside from its cool and fresh air, you can have also picnic in this beach near the shore. Because of its big waves, Bagasbas is a great place for surfers.

Cheap, otherwise free, wide enough even if there are many people. Perfect for early morning walks, or just watching the sunset. Ideal for surfing and not advisable for swimming with small kids. Breathing the salty, ionized seabreeze was relaxing enough for me.

You can walk out several yards and still not worry about the depth of the water. This was great for our younger kids who braved the slight waves.
