Not a long walk but worth doing - we were lucky it was sunny and dry but I expect it may be a bit muddy in the winter months so good shoes recommended. Nice waterfall and the dog loved charging around the woods and jumping...More

A nice walk along a wooded river valley with a waterfall at the end. If you can take the normal path down into the River valley and not the easy route (save that for coming back). Don't stop at the sign and think that's the...More

Nice little walk up a hill from the village, although we came upon it at the tail end of our walk back from Castell Dinas. Some pretty picturesque waterfalls along the way, and an easy access trail for those of us who don't go up...More

A lovely wander through pleasant woods with a very pretty waterway running through, a great way to spend an hour in Talgarth.

After visiting the Talgarth Mill, we decided to follow the raging (after the recent heavy rains) river upstream towards Pwll-y-wrach. Excellent riverside walk - lots of interesting features to admire!

This is a beautiful area it's a must see. We absolutely loved the area. I would go back. There's lots to see and great to potter around or go for a full blown hike.

Pop in to the local tourist information centre and pick up one of the local walk maps, there are a variety of distances to choose. We had a great time walking the "whipping tree" walk. While you are in Talgarth stop off at the working...More

Thi a very interesting place to visit. A nice easy pleasant walk to the waterfall and possible sighting of various wildlife. The best time to visit is during the winter months as there is more water flowing down the waterfall. The only problem is there...More

We went up here to see the witches pool and it was a steep road incline and very muddy off road. Worth it when we got to the pool

I walk the dog here and like the peace and tranquillity of it all. Just a short distance out of Talgarth, just follow the stream, and make sure you see the waterfall at the end. Stout shoes recommended, and it's a narrow path to follow.
