It is a revered place. A short distance off the NH 17 highway located in prestine surroundings. I suppose it is the first place I have seen the Ganesha idol in standing posture.

This is one of the old temple of Lord Ganapathi situated between Murdeswar & Honnavar, We visited the temple and had darshan of standing Ganapathi .Various sevas are performed here, details are available in the Temple office .Nice place and peaceful environment.

Myself and my wife visited this temple recently in the evening. We drove from Karwar - 110 kms - two hrs drive - reached around 1615hrs. Good dharshan. Taken tickets from the official counter. Arti was shown and given prasadam ( prasadam outside corridor). Curios...More
